About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

Overpopulation is a devastating problem for companion animals in this country and worldwide. The Humane Society of the United States estimates that every year, between six to eight million animals enter animal shelters, and every year three to four million animals that enter shelters are euthanized. The majority of these animals that die due to pet overpopulation, would have made wonderful companions, if only given the chance.

In the current economic state, these numbers are increasing. Unemployment rates are high and people continue to lose their homes. Many people are finding that they can no longer afford to care for their pets, or are unable to find housing that will allow for them.

The problem with pet overpopulation is a real problem right here in Minnesota. Twin Cities Pet Rescue was formed to give deserving animals a permanent home; saving one life at a time.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a Minnesota nonprofit, foster-based rescue organization. Animals that are rescued by Twin Cities Pet Rescue are placed in foster homes until they find their permanent home.
