About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

Overpopulation is a devastating problem for companion animals in this country and worldwide. The Humane Society of the United States estimates that, every year, 6 to 8 million animals enter animal shelters. Of those, 3 to 4 million are euthanized.

If only given the chance, most of those animals would have made wonderful pets.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue was founded in March 2009 with the mission of rescuing companion animals in need – often rescuing animals that are overlooked by other organizations. TCPR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All of our rescued animals stay with loving foster homes until they are adopted and receive veterinary care, high quality nutrition, basic training and love while waiting for their furever families.
